China IPPR International Engineering Corporation is an engineering corporation which integrates engineering consultation, engineering design, project contracting, project management, packaged equipment as well as technology, industry and trade together. It is reorganized under the reformation by taking IPPR Engineering International (the Former Institute of Project Planning & Research, Ministry of Machine Building Industry) as the core, and combined with China Machinery Industry Computer & Technology Corp and Machine Building Industry Planning & Research Institute.
The company’s core enterprise was established in 1953. It is the key enterprise of the national engineering construction industry. The company possesses the state-level comprehensive engineering design certificate of grade A and not only be able to undertake the engineering design business of all industries and in all levels, and do engineering project general contracting and project management that involves 21 industries such as: buildings, machineries, medicine, ships, weapons, municipal facilities, commerce, chemical, energy, building materials, light industry and etc. based on the grade of engineering design qualification; It possesses grade A qualifications including engineering consultation, urban planning, and construction cost; certificate of pressure vessel design; rights of self-managed import and export, qualification certificate of foreign economic cooperation, qualification certificate of import and export enterprise, registered certificate for self-aided declaration unit at customs, qualification of tending and bidding management unit, license for construction drawing and design document checkup and the authentication certificate of quality control, environment and occupational health system. It is one of Top 100 comprehensive strength units of the national exploration and design industry.
Currently, the company has more than 1300 engineering technical personnel including more than 30 disciplines. Among them, four persons are awarded the honorable title of “state design master”; more than 200 are masters/doctors of different disciplines; and over 400 are of all kinds of registered engineers. The company has set up 6 subordinate institutes, 3 subordinate units, 7 functional management departments, and also has branch offices in Hainan, Xiamen, Shanghai, Chengdu and Tianjin.
